I believe that 1918 was the year they changed the sights.

I would not sell it for any amount. Value would start in the $500 range, and if its in excellent shape...then much more.

I would document the history on it if anyone is still alive that knows- that will add significantly to the value. If you find out anything about the gun or its history- write it down!!! Names, dates, events.

DOC and history of item it will start at several thousand and go up. I have a Remington model that went ashore at Normandy and was carried all the way to Berlin by my father in law; he left it to me. Because of its documented history and etc it is hard to put a price tag on it; but I have turned down a 4K offer about a year ago.

i think of you over value the skill advance in value. Artillery Lugers are uncommon, government fashions are like weeds.... except a uncommon form or very custom, the value isn't increasing that plenty.

It's impossible to tell. Condition is everything. A P.O.S. 1911 colt is still a P.O.S.

Depends on cosmetics and mechanical condition. If it is all original, you can get at least $500 even in fair condition.

You need to take in to be appraised. Any paperwork from Colt would help. All parts should be original.

Would have to see it, check all the parts etc. Unseen, I'd give you 800 for it

I really don't know, but I know it won't be cheap.
