Industrial piercing problems?

My industrial is almost a month old, the swelling since getting it has one down but not all the way. I'm sure it's not infected because it normally doesn't feel warm (it does now cuz the piercer changed the barbell a few days ago, it was extremely long). Since getting the barbell changed the swelling didn't increase.

How do I get the rest if the swelling in my industrial to go down?

I also clean it twice a day with anti-bacterial soap and H2Ocean

Well the industrial along with many other cartilage piercings take 6-12 months to fully heal. So don't be concerned that the swelling has not yet gone down. The rest of the swelling will go down by cleaning it regularly with your sea salt water and over time the swelling should go down completly. Hope this helped and good luck! :)

Unfortunately industrial piercings are not one that will have a faster healing time then people say. Pretty much every other piercing heals nice and quick and in probably half the time people say it does, but mine took about 8-10 months all up to no longer swell or be painful to sleep on. Just keep doing what you are doing to remove the crust, but be careful to not over clean it as some bacteria is needed and good.

Industrials take a very long time to heal, because of the way the bar sits across the two piercings. Mine was sore for 8 months. You've got a long time to go before it heals!
