Why is my "Add File" function on Yahoo Groups not working?
Why is file uploading on YahooGroups not working, and why can I only open non-PDF files?
I'm a moderator, and have uploaded files to my Yahoo Group many times by doing the following steps:
Click on Files > Folder Name > Add File > Browse
Doubleclick on the file from my computer,
Type in a description,
Select the box under notification (i.e., send a message to the group announcing this file)
Then click "Upload File."
Usually the file uploads just fine, but recently, all that happens is that the file name disappears from the browse window, and nothing else happens.
The file I want to upload is WAY under the 5000 KB size limit,
and the YahooGroup is only using 67 % of its 100 MB capacity.
I have tried uploading a variety of files (PDFs, Word Documents, Excel files, all with no luck),
Deleting some old files works.
Opening current files only works if it is NOT PDF.
What is wrong?
FYI, it is a members-only group, and not one open to the general public.

It has nothing to do with the groups settings, you wouldn't see the add file tab if you didn't have the ability to add.
I'd try loading it on another browser and see if that makes any difference. So many things can affect this, like your server, Yahoo's server, and your computer (opening PDF files). You have to rule out everything else, then you can determine that it's a Yahoo issue they need to repair.

If you are the owner of the group click on Management then Web Tools. Make sure you have the ability to upload, open, download files and photos. You may have accidently turned these off.
