When I think of Islamic radicalism?
I do actually feel fear, knowing that they will not stop at anything to make sure someone believes in their god. if you have seen any of my posts or answers, you know that i am an atheist. And this radicalism puts peoples lives in danger, unlike christianity who only endanger your sanity.
But seriously, i hate admitting i am afraid, but I have seen what these people do.
What are your thoughts?

Fear comes from having expectations that things in the world "should" be a certain way. If the world is going to end in total nuclear destruction... then so what? Fighting radicals with fear is like fighting fire with gas. It's what they want. The other thing is that fear is good as long as its rational... it keeps you from making silly decisions. Be a good person and don't move to a country ruled by the Taliban.

The Catholics were about 1000000X worse during the crusades, unfortunately the radicals evolve into having bigger weapons and bigger platforms just as the rest of the world evolves. Hopefully knowledge and common sense can begint to spread among people.

Well, Nick, following Jesus gives us the spirit of a sound mind, so you are wrong there.
Terrorists are unpredictable and highly emotional, and that's what distresses me. Their impulsiveness leads to much danger and harm to others. Their holy book actually advocates violence in cases where they perceive attack and threats on what they believe, and yet they maintain that Islam is a religion of peace. Yeah, right! As long as things go the way they think they should.

Any person willing to kill himself and execute others in mass killings to prove his religious faith is a massive danger to society. Fear is warranted.
