Do surgery staples hurt being removed?

I just recently had a C-Section and im getting the staples removed today; does it hurt getting them removed?

Sometimes. There is a special tool that is used to remove surgical staples.
Source(s): Sometimes kids would come to me to take out staples they got from a visit to the ER. I much preferred removing silk or nylon sutures. But little kids are more squiggley that grown-ups.
