Do you approve or disapprove of the way Roger Goodell has handled his job as Commissioner of the NFL?

Mike and Mike were comparing the Commissioner to the President this morning so they can ask this question, but they were asking it wrong by asking for people to give an arbitrary percentage to a simple yes or no question. So, I ask you. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Roger Goodell has handled his job as Commissioner of the NFL?

Update:

I must have miscommunicated. I'm not asking if you approve or disapprove of President Obama, only Commissioner Goodell. I only brought the president up to compare this question to approval rating polls.

Disapprove/ He hasn't handled the bountygate scandal well, he's still pushing for 18 games ( but hasn't mentioned any increase in revenue for the players, or expanding the rosters for the sake of trying to keep players healthy), he hasn't really addressed the former players medical issues or some type of income for their retirement ( i'm talking about the players who played before the 80's), and now he and the owners want to expand the playoffs to 16 teams. At the rate football is going now, there'll be 20 teams in the playoffs palying flag football, and the season will stat on the Fourth of July, and the Super Bowl will be Easter Sunday!

I approve of the way Goodell has handled his job thus far....Making the game safer is important if the game wants to continue to progress. Making the game safer was an agenda before he arrived as well and people complained but the game continued. remember Clotheslines, face masks, and horsecollars.

As for the president, no comment, don't know why people are injecting that into a sports question. I know it wasn't you Todd. Just the responses

disprove- since his tenure, ive said hes just a big bully. of course, i conceided his idea of cleaning up the league. but from if you looked at some of the fiines, there was little to no consistency. he went to fine chad ochocinco as much money as pacman jones for wrong colored shoes as pacman was for starting a fight. to go on further, most of the problems i saw was that he was too quick to judgement and fines well before the answers were concluded and definitive. and my biggest problem was the players getting 50%+ money in the new cba in exchange for absolute power by goodell. many people were fine with it and i said the players essentially ruined the league. now, with all the bountygate sh*t, people have started noticing that his tactics were simply to gain money at the players expense. and now that hes losing, hes looking worse and worse and trying to backtrack by lessening punishments. and my absolute final straw is the fact he is actually considering expanding the playoff to 16 teams. hell, its 1 and done... the best teams get a bye. and we have a system and is considered one of the greatest systems in sports right now. the nba has this problem where even half of the playoff teams arent even that good. and he always talks about player safety and protecting them: look at bountygate and these stupid, questionable rules. etc. yet this d*ck thinks its smart to extend the nfl to 18 games and 16 team in the playoffs... and for those that are wondering, the nfl is expected to make $150-$180 BILLION under the current cba agreement.

The misconception of the majority is that the commissioner just acts and does what he wants. He is hired by the OWNERS and paid by the OWNERS.

Anyone that is in this type of position is always going to have supporters and enemies. The NFL is far and away the most popular of the major sports in the US....that would lead me to believe he is doing something right.

    Disapproved BOTH.

NFL? This is the battle between players and players. One hurts, intentionally or unintentionally the others, that should be the issue of the NFLPA, let them deal with it.

U.S.? Sigh!!!! what else can I say :(

I think he has done pretty good with a tough job. Working to make rules and impose penalties with a bunch of spoiled under achievers cant be easy. Not even counting that he probably always has to look over his back.

disapprove, all he has done has been illogical and irrelevant to the game of football. i mean seriously, he's gonna turn one of the toughest sports into a sissy game. soon he's probably gonna turn it to two-hand touch. I'm a teenager, and i'd do a better job than him.
