What brands of jewelry do women like for Christmas?

So I would like to get my girlfriend either a necklace or earrings for Christmas. With our budget of $150 and how we have only been dating 3 months, what brand of jewelry do women like that aren't cheap, but aren't Tiffany's?

If I can I'd like to stay away from "typical" Kay's, Jared, Zales.....I want it to be a little more thought that "oh I saw that on a tv commercial."

Please help!

    Swarovski! their stuff is beautiful and very well priced. the stones are austrian crystal, and all the metals are platinum metals. HIGH quality jewelry. i love it!

    Try visiting a local jewler. Their pieces tend to differ from what you see on tv. A lot of their pieces are original to their store and that way you can get your girlfriend a piece that she hasn't seen yet.

    I love the Pandora customization idea (thumbed it up!). But here are some other ideas you might enjoy more if your girl doesn't like Pandora.

    You could apply for a credit line at a local jeweler so that you can build your credit while building brownie points with your lady.

    ooohh pandora! once you get her the charm bracelet get a charm that says ''i love you'' or somthing and she will keep it forever and start to collect charms!

    tiffany would be so nice too! but its quite expensive but a cute bracelt from their girls love!!
