That never happened to me: since day one both my partner and I always did our best for each other; relationships are not contests to decide who is stronger, they are paths two people choose to walk together, hand in hand, supporting one another since the very first day. When that doesn't happen then it's not a real relationship but just a shallow game.

The first time with a guy ina relationship, may not be what u expected, the first time u guys do it. The first time u guys actually make love, maybe then you will get emotionally attatched. Just bc its the first time y'all do it , doesn't make the person wanna persue them off gate . It has to be the perfect time, bc who's to say the first time u guys were intoxicated, or wasn't that great. So id say another time in my opinion , where u guys where at the right place, at the right time, where it just hits u .... then its wherever the fate leads u guys after that... :)

It depends, sometimes it never happens. There are plenty of relationships where the guy remains slightly more into the girl than vice versa. Some relationships the power balance swings back and forth.

However, on the whole, I would say you are correct, and the power swings upon having sex. Mostly guys now see the chase is over and the girl is "his", so he no longer has to try. Girls now feel more bonded to him than they did before, and also like they've "given something up", so if the relationship fails, their "investment" wasn't worth it.
