What's the fun part about the Holiday season for?

I like so much about Christmas time, to be honest. I love shopping for all the gifts, the special meals, all the time spent with family and friends, the weather. Also, this is the only time of year that I make chocolates because they've expensive to make, but I really enjoy that--and then one evening, we drive around to friend's houses passing out plates of candy-I love that part. We have a party at our house the 2nd Saturday of December every year, and it is one of the highlights of my entire year. It's a great party. I love when someone opens a gift I've given and they really love it. I like to drive around looking at all the lights....and more.

When we move into New Year's, we always go on vacation, and who doesn't like that? We go somewhere for a week usually and spend the time on a beach or at Disney or someplace else good. This year, we're going to Las Vegas-staying at the Bellagio.

There's a lot of fun in all that.

The lights, smells, decorating a tree, shopping for gifts, Christmas music. The thing I like best about it though, is people seem to be in a better mood than usual. It's my favorite holiday.

BQ--Pumpkin bread, but I love egg nog too. Can't drink very much of it at 400 calories a cup!
