I went to this Burger King and filled out this application. I noticed these plain clothes people behind the counter talking to the manager. While I was sitting down at a table one of the "plain clothes people" asked me if I needed anything and she saw my application. She asked if I wanted to turn that in and I said yea and asked if she was the manager. She told me she was the District Manger, and my eyes lite up in sparkles because the store manager would have to listen to the District Manager else she'd be fired. Long story short, the Store manager came out to meet me and I handed her my application along with my profilio. She said she was very impressed and the District Manager was reading my information and said,"Impressed enough to take your job." The store manger, Palaina gave this soft chuckle and wrote down a time for an interview Thursday(Today) @10AM. I shook her hand left with a bounce in my step.

Thursday, August 8th

9:30 AM

I got there thirty minutes early for the interview and sat down at a table. I didn't address the manager because she was busy taking orders. 15 minutes later she called over to me and offered me a small cup to drink. When I reached for the cup, she took it back and gave me an even bigger cup. At first, I thought it was a test to see if I would take the cup but I wasn't sure. 5 minutes before the interview, I started gathering my things and asked her if she was ready. She told me that she was really busy and asked me to come back when the other manager comes in so she has more time. So she said 12:30ish when she's almost off work. I agreed to the time and left without a thought until I got down the road and still had that feeling that I'd been tricked. I've never had an interview before nor have I dealt with any hiring managers, so I was really skeptical about it.

Any ideas on how to combat sneaky/tricky managers? I'm I just being paranoid? It's almost time for me to go back there, so I'm not sure If I loss the interview yet.

Anyone have any stories like this one? Doesn't have to be fast food. Any Tips would be cool.

Why do men turn gay? Dont get me wrong here. I just wanted to know. I mean I dont mind females turning Bi or Lesi, but I just dont get why a dude will talk like a girl, act like a girl, and sometimes dress like a girl. I'm in college right now and they moved me into a new room. Next thing you know I find out all the roommates are gay... Now I'm sleeping on couchs in the lobby and having to sneak to my GF's room to sleep in her bed so security doesnt catch me. The thing is, I dont like men like that, I dont want to be "hitted" on, and when I try talking to them, it gets uncomfortable very quickly. Now I cant sleep, I'm sneaking around the campus my GF's room risking our scholarships, and its just hell.
