    Just a little nitpick: "Anime" is the Japanese word for "cartoon," so as far as the Japanese are concerned, Spongebob is anime.

    Anyway, my favorite Japanese anime is Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoiyo! Masaru-San.

    And my favorite American cartoon is probably Family Guy.
