Precalc question involving graphs?

I have to use my graphing calculator to "approximate the local maximum and minimum value of the function f(x) = -0.4x^3-0.5x^2+4x-6 for -6<x<4

I know how to find max and min and how to put the function into my calculator, but how do I solve it for -6<x<4?

Thanks in advance.

I just copied and pasted "f(x) = -0.4x^3-0.5x^2+4x-6 for -6<x<4"(without " ") into Wolfram and got a graph no problem.

precal is a soreness. optimal human beings in honors training take precal their junior 12 months, yet on the grounds which you're taking it as a sophomore, you probably have a good background in math and you will do nicely. this is definitely greater beneficial algebra than geometry.
