Other method for finding mean of 3 or more numbers...?

Except for the traditional way of dividing the sum of all numbers by # of numbers.

Also, don't suggest expected value.

I know this should be in the math section, but no one could give me a good answer there.

    That is the only way, unless you mean some algebraic manipulation.

    What can be easier than M = (1/3)(A+B+C) ?

    The Math section and the Engineering section seem to currently agree that the arithmetic mean is to be found only by the conventional arithmetic procedure.

    Next, you might try the Philosophy section.
