Currently ,directly above north central Florida at about midnight is a major star having a reddish hue. The "pointer stars" also direct toward it - somewhat.

Got a name for it ?

Does a power factor of 0.8 mean that 20% more power must be generated to serve that inductive load ? For example : if the resistance - only load is 100kW the needed generation is 100kW, but if the inductive load is 100kW with a 0.8 PF, the needed generation is 120kW ?

What would be the effect on normal plant life if the red part of the photosynthetic solar stimulus was blocked by deep and long-enduring water cloud cover ?

Will normal plant life employing photosynthesis survive without some direct sunlight, or can it be sustain by ultraviolet radiation alone ?

For instance, suppose there was deep, extended and long- persistent (water vapor/mist) cloud cover.

Some say it is the phosphoric acid in the Coke. So would any weak acid be an effective rust stripper, like vinegar , citric acid ? What about other carbonated soft drinks.
