I asked this question yesterday and got some good advice, BUT, my keyboard does not have an Fn key, so now what? I hit the menu button on the screen and it does not show anything about adjusting the brightness or contrast. I am so confused.

Go to Start and hit control panel. Click system and security then power settings. Now you can slide to adjust the brightness
