What is NASA saying about December 2012?

Nothing is going to happen. It's all a hoax. Below are two links to NASA's statements.

NASA has consistently denied that anything special is going to happen on December 21 - because it won't!

People have been asking about the supposed 3 days of darkness starting on December 23. This is interesting (sort of) because it's two days AFTER the world is supposed to end on December 21 when the Mayan calendar "runs out" and we get hit by the planet Nibiru.

So those people obviously don't believe the world is going to end, or they wouldn’t be asking about something that’s supposed to happen 2 days afterwards. In that case, why would they believe this piece of rubbish either?

Why should there be 3 days of darkness? That either means

(1) there will be a huge amount of cloud cover so the light from the Sun is totally blocked - and even the Moon doesn't affect our clouds.

(2) the Earth will stop rotating for 3 days. Why would it do that, and why would it then start up again?

(3) The Sun will switch off for 3 days.

Are any of these even possible? Absolutely not. Where did you read this rubbish, and why do you have the slightest idea that it could possibly be true? What were you thinking about when you were at school? Didn't you learn anything? How gullible are you? Would you like to give me £10,000?

Nasa has confirmed that on December 21, late afternoon, the sky will be very dark. It is an interesting phenomenon called "night".

Also, people all over the world will be able to see a giant planetary body hovering in the sky during this phenomenon. This giant planetary body's name is "moon".

NASA is not in the habit of commenting on hoaxes.

The "blackout" is just another hoax.

I called NASA just yesterday and all the told me was"it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas".

Nothing is going to happen. It's fiction based on the Mayan calendar. No human can predict with accuracy the end of the world.
