No. But I think that we should begin to change our gun laws. They are clearly not effective. I think we need to better background checks, extend waiting periods, and have more redflags that disqualify one from gun ownership. Better record keeping and licensing would be a good idea too. I don't think an outright ban would work in the USA, gun culture is too engrained. Change to gun laws needs to be gradual.

Obama is working on growing a social state with the help of a world agenda. He is clearing Gizmo to imprison Americans who to not pay for health care-Obama care is a tax, for civil disobedience like

those who riot and protest the government and assumed acts against the government or do not turn in guns and gold-he put that in the new patriot act, and they are working on taking away our right to own guns and gold. They do not even have to use our military to start their civil war. They have the UN forces. Why do you think they are down sizing our military..it is not just to make us equal to the world.

You are right that they will imprison those that do not turn in their guns but is not a good thing as you surmise. The children dying in vein has nothing to do with guns being taken from citizens that are not law breakers. It has to do with the immoral decay of our country that makes crazy people. No, it is creating spoiled kids without character that go around taking the lives of others because your ideals of abortion have demoralized the importance of life through self desires.

When you make excused for a lack of responsibility you teach that the life of others is less important than yours. Argue that it is a fetus which is baby in French all you want but it is feeding and growing and aborting it snuffs out the natural process of life, a life that can not be allowed to live and love because someone sees their desires are more important. That is what Adam did today. He saw that life was not important and he aborted it to fulfill his own desires.

They will have to, they have no choice. The gun laws are just insane. I will admit that. Have you been to Germany, Netherlands or France?... Tell me how their gun violence is compared to America. But they used to be one of the most violent countries many decades ago.

The problem is not ownership, but the system. It is so ineffective. You can buy a gun like an iphone at a walmart in Texas. That is not particularly pleasing to hear. In general, gun violence is a problem. But also because of the culture. America is driven by aggressivness. I'm ashamed I must say, that we're the most powerful country, yet we can't keep our people safer than in other countries. And it has nothing to do with the size of the countries. We just have bad education, influence and the most ridicule laws. That is America for you. I moved to German (As a dual citizen) and am happy.

I am not opposing ownership, but I'm opposing the easy access and bad gun laws that don't work.

Edit: Don't listen to Gungy. He's another conservative who clearly uses facts that are irrelevant to gun violence in America. It has nothing to do with strict gun laws or not strict gun laws. Its this violent driven culture. Even with athletes, or news anchors who start building an attitude and becoming defensive when there is something they want to debate about. Students as well. I have seen more fights in America on the streets than anywhere else.

Any attempt to take away guns would maybe net 10% of privately owned guns in the US.
