Prayer in school. Algebra and geometry are also useless.?

I think the purpose of school is to merely learn things for the future profession. If you want to be a minister, study bible courses.

Prayer in school would be a good thing, if people can mean what they pray. Most people who claim to be Christians believe in homosexuality/lesbianism, gambling, smoking/chewing tobacco, drinking booze, using "recreational drugs", fornication (more than 50% of all births are to un-wed mothers and has been for more than 40 years), etc.

I would have to say that I have not really used either algebra or geometry in life, except to advance another grade in school, then on to college, and then to graduate school. I was never really good in math (mostly earned Bs) but on both the G.M.A.T and G.R.E. I scored above the 50th percentile, so I must be better than most!

So, I will have to fall back on what I have read:

#1. Math is the only pure science, and it is a universal language. (Some claim music is, but interpretation of music depends upon your language/religion/politics [ethnicity].)

#2. Math enables people to use more of their brains and to learn how to learn.

So, we definitely need to keep algebra & geometry. Besides, geometry is fun! (Think of all the geometric designs.)

I attended church all the time when I was young and took Bible & Philosophy in college, so I can truthfully state I have never heard of any lies that preachers/priests/etc. told about pagans/atheists. To me, pagans/atheists (including Obama, Hillary, Pelosi) need to go to school to learn the TRUTH!
