Which skills are we Gaining or Acquiring with increasing usage of electronic gadgets ?

The positives would probably be an increased coordination of multiple abilities. As much as we lose in our attempts to 'multi-task', we do gain a bit in managing multiple parts at once, at the very least by learning to accept our limitations and decide what is really worth our attention.

In that way, technology does what anything new really should: remind us that we still have to use our best judgement no matter how much the rest changes.

And, as a video game player, I would go so far as to claim that our eye-hand coordination can gain from technological challenges.

None, we are actually losing skills. Nobody writes anymore and based on what I see here on Answers lots of people know nothing about spelling(even with spell check at their finger tips) or sentence structure. Social skills are in the toilet, half the population can not even carry on and intelligent conversation.
