Best Ways to Start Potty Training?
We want to start training our 2 year old son, but we're not sure where to begin...at all.I'm honestly daunted. Dad and are separated but we agreed to choose one method and be consistent no matter where he's at. We bought a potty for each house, and the grandmom's did as well. They also offered advice but we were iffy. So, we need to know where to start, how to keep it up, and everything so we can ditch these diapers.:D
My son completely gets what the potty's for also...he's tested it out a couple times now.

We are so glad that you reached out with this question. It is also great that you want to be consistent with technique across all homes. Do not punish you son for not going on the toilet or force him to go as he may develop negative associations with toilet training. Start small with reading books on going to the potty. Let him play with his potty chair. Change his underwear in the bathroom. Talk about the potty, and eventually he will be receptive to sitting on the toilet. You can also contact your physician to determine if your child is ready developmentally for toilet training.

As a mother of five children, I have the best ever advice. Works perfectly and the job is done in two weeks.
First, determine, is the child kind of interested in the process? Or is the child not at all interested?
I always waited, and was rewarded with an interest, at which point I started immediately.
The age was around 2, so you are right there.
When the child is interested, the pottychair goes right in the most convenient spot possible. For us, it was the family room, or the living room. Since it only takes two weeks, it is not that inconvenient.
Then, staying home as much as possible, and whenever you are at home, leave the panties off, entirely. No diaper, no training pants.
The reason this works is that the child does not like the pee to dribble down the leg, so, to avoid that, the child goes to the potty chair.
We were completely done and into normal panties by the end of two weeks. Magic.

Well, I'm nonetheless coaching my daughter. We first spotted that she could conceal or let us know that she simply went! So we talked to her and confirmed her in which she's think to move, due to the fact that she's developing. And she received the concept, so we went and picked out a potty for her and matters received lovely convenient after that. We additionally picked out bathroom paper for her. We most effective positioned most effective placed on her pull u.s.a.when we are at residence. When we pass out we positioned her "youngster" diapers incase she has an coincidence. Pulls u.s.a.can get soaked two times up to diapers, so do not over use them. Clothe diapers additionally paintings and support train them alot faster! here is a internet site to train extra approximately that! GOOD LUCK!
