Favorite profession in Guild Wars 2?
I posted a question last week about what MMORPG people are liking right now. I decided to give Guild Wars 2 a shot, and so far I'm liking it. So now, can anyone tell me what profession you're playing? And what you like best about it? As if now I'm playing an Elementalist. Thanks!

Guardian. Decent DPS, awesome buffs, and high survival chance.

My main is a human engineer. Nothing better than running around with a flamethrower.
I have 4 other characters as well.
Level 66 Sylvari Elementalist - I love playing an ele, but can't seem to like ele's as much in GW2 as I did in GW1.
Level 34 Norn Warrior
Level 35 Charr Ranger
Level 15 Asuran Thief - So far I'm having a hard time leveling my thief. They just seem so squishy, but other thieves say that's just not the case. I need to learn to play a thief better.
I've created and since deleted a Mesmer and Guardian. Needed the extra char slot for a key runner and just haven't been able to get into those play styles. I plan to eventually have 1 of each profession.

I'm playing a human mesmer. They are great in PvP and group PvE play. They throw down conditions on enemies and provide boons for allies. They are also the only class where the Great Sword is a *ranged* weapon.
