Because the youtube video (which I'm assuming you're talking about) is about a funny attention-wanting person who has a low IQ (nice way of saying stupid) saying a stupid phrase over and over again making a fool out of herself and Americans love that kinda thing. With the internet nowadays people share videos and it gets around quickly. Its not about talent, its about how stupid something is. You want to be infamous on youtube, then make a video of yourself being stupid.

Well it's the same when someone says duty. Most people automatically start giggling, because it brings out the primitive child in then. Same with that song.
