What makes Pewdipie, Smosh, many vines, JennaMarbles, TheFineBros so popular? What separates them from normal users? How does one become well known?

I have a account, I show my art and made a speculation video for a upcoming movie. I've noticed many YT stars do video game stuff, and skits. I don't want to copy all they do, how can my videos become well known?

Also I have commented on many videos and advertised my stuff.

I wrote a book, I have been working on it for 4 years. I posted it on Deviantart, but it's not very successful...I've advertised it, and mentioned it many times. Even if I fix mistakes it still is not enough. What makes books like Jurassic Park, the Halo novels, Hunger Games popular?

I have over 70 watchers, and received lots of feedback. But I would like more, my art usually has only 2 to 4 comments. The weird thing is that why do I have many watchers but so little feedback? Here is a link to my gallery, maybe someone can teach me some techniques for art?

Ok so my parents got me a Xbox 360 slim, by then we had our old copy of Halo 2. I put it in and it said I needed a hard drive to play. So my sibling got one, and my uncle got a better looking Halo 2. So the game got put in and it said "Try downloading the game again." I kept putting it in but it did not work... I don't what to do.

In 2050, earth made peace with multiple alien races, thus making medication, and advanced tech together.

But in 2060, an advanced rebel alliance rage war against earth.

This rebel alliance is known as, the kasara.

The military then formed a special army

of genetically augmented cops.

They have helped repel the kasara for decades, but were still loosing....

In 2098, a genetics scientists named Dr. Cole formed project: CYBORG, witch evolved cloning the first raptors, turning them to super soldiers.

After two years of training, 4 of the most skilled raptors each went to a different location to stop the kasara.

Raiku-001, the most skilled fighter chose to protect Atlanta.

He is one of the city's last lines of defense....

Ok....I have a account(Sniper0092) and I don't get a lot of comments....

I like to draw fan art of Halo and manga themed things, I see other art like that, but they WAY more then me, I am thinking maybe most people hate my style....

I have notice MLP and Sonic are popular, but I don't want to be known for drawing just ponies and Sonic, I love Halo art, it's hard to be myself if people look at stuff that is not really always that good, my stuff looks better then that!

So what are things that are popular to draw?
