Message postings are being truncated in Orawhistle Group?

Latest update of Groups software (few hours ago) broke displaying of plain text messages in Messages and Pending Messages (even in View Source). Everything between < and > is stripped out. Often that truncates a message. Characters < and > are stripped out too, including at the beginning of every line of a quoted portion of a message. When I view HTML source of pages in Messages (expanded and not), Messages - View Source, Pending Messages, Pending Messages - View Source, the stripped out portions aren't there at all, i.e. the problem is browser-independent.

Messages and Pending Messages are completely broken and unusable!!

Meanwhile, use Groups via email, including moderation.

P.S. Truncation was fixed, but < and > characters are still stripped out. That makes quotes in plain text messages (with ">" at the beginning of each line) indistinguishable from replies.

As best I can tell Yahoo! recently broke their forums. This is happening in other groups as well.

As soon as an open bracket is encountered, it seems to attempt to *interpret* the bracket as something HTML-like, and therefore the rest of the message disappears to the ether. Unfortunately as well, Yahoo Help seems to direct here rather than having any method of actually telling Yahoo they have a real full-blown bug with their message archives.

Odd. Are you seeing this on the group only, or is this happening as well when the posts are sent out in e-mail? If it's only on the group, have you tried another browser?
