Is My Computer Damaged Beyond Repair?
It's A Brand New Compaq Laptop. My Sister Spilled Iced Tea Into The Vents. Is It Completely Dead? Is There Any Chance Of Retrieving Files?

Laptop?
It's probably toast.
Files?
Get a new laptop and a cheap USB to SATA adapter off the internet (like $20 most, but the $10 ones work just as well), find instructions on how to pull the hard drive from the old laptop and hook it up with the adapter, copy the files from there.
Replacement?
If it's new, it MIGHT have a Warranty that covers this kind of damage. My mom has a Samsung laptop that has a warranty that would cover a replacement if it was thrown out of an airplane or if it flew off the car roof going 60 MPH, yours might cover accidents, but you would have to go read your warranty information.

Had a similar issue a few years back and had to end up getting a new laptop. While searching for a new laptop I encourage you to try and secure a warranty. It's always helpful for times like these.

Not a chance, sorry. Any amount of liquid, such as a cup, will entirely damage the computer, meaning its priceless and useless.
