Can I eat Duck 1 day past its use by date?

I want to cook a duck dish in my fridge tonight, but it's one day past its suggested use-by date. I assume it's probably fine but i want to be sure i don't die in a horrifically painful way soon after... Think it's okay?

Thanks!

yes you will have no problems at all, most meats last longer then the sell date!1, but i would suggest cooking it in the oven, instead of the fridge, it cooks better that way -- lol--- enjoy your dinner!!

is it an expiry date? or just best before (bb) best before just means the quality declines, but it is still safe so long as it has been kept at proper temperature. Though even with the expiry only being 1 day off, as long as it smells fresh, and not at all rancid it should still be fine. just make sure it gets cooked to 180*F. Enjoy :-)

If it doesn't smell like it's rotting, I would.
