Why do people keep asking if they're attractive?
I've seen so many questions that ask "Am I good looking?" or "Do I look ugly to you?"
It's kind of sad to see people pandering to a community of random people on the internet whom they've never met. Do the people in their lives just insult their looks so much that they've got low self esteem? That their last hope is a bunch of people who have no idea who they are and probably never will? Why the heck are people asking if they're attractive?!

That's an easy one. I'll give you several reasons and you can take your pick:
1. They are insecure and need affirmation.
2. They're fishing for compliments to make their day. Nothing like being told how good looking they are
3.They are bored and have nothing else better to do
4. They are not posting a picture of themselves but of their bf or gf. EG: guy posts a pic of his girlfriend but wants you to believe it's him. It sure beats asking, " Is my girlfriend beautiful?"
5. They do it because they totally bored
6. They been told they're ugly and want to know what we all think
7. They just learned how to use photo shop
8. Because they know there are people who will always answer on Yahoo Answers.

Because they are sad people who need to be reassured that they aren't as ugly as they think they are.
Sound kinda like movie stars, to me.

They are worried that won't get av root! They all look the same with the lights off!
