How many specialist and how many generalist plants are in the amazon rainforest?

    You can't find it because there are tens of thousands and all it takes to come up with a hundred more is to go looking. You would have to look up the hundreds and hundreds of species and decide which are specialized and which generalist.

    Due to the incredibly high biodiversity of the tropical rainforest, most species will be specialist species. A single tree can have several whole communities distinct from one another. (species that are specific to the canopy and feed only on species in the canopy).

    Very few species could be considered generalists, except maybe the highest trophic level (large predators).
