what's a good light, vacuum to buy?
i'm looking for a vacuum that functions well and lasts for years. i've been looking for a hoover-brand vacuum (since my aunt recommended it) but based on the reviews it appears that all of them could break as quickly as a few months.

At www.carpetcleanerportishead.co.uk we like to use Karcher or Bissell vacs because they are light but if you want reliability as well then I'd say go for a small Dyson - but it'll cost ya!
