Try wearing my retainer again?
I had braces and now I'm only supposed to wear my retainer at night. I did good for about a year until I had a bad cold. I didn't wear it for like a week and I haven't gotten back in the habit of wearing it yet. It's been about 2 months since I last wore it and now I can see a gap in between my front teeth. I can get both retainers in they just hurt a little more than usual. Should I wear them? Or what should I do to make them not hurt do bad? Will these correct the gap in between my front teeth?

YES! Wear the retainers as much as possible to make your teeth perfect again. This is the only way you can fix them again without getting braces again. The gap will go away in about 2 days. Rinse with ice water if it hurts and take advil. I know this sounds weird but if you have throat spray, the kind that numbs it, spray a little on when it hurts.

You should definitely start wearing them again. Better late then never. You spent alot of money getting braces so you don't want that to go to waste do you now? The retainers may fix the gap that you have, but it will take a while.

Yes it should correct the gap between your teeth, i would get the same thing when i didn't wear mine. And with the pain it should go away after you start using it for awhile, since you stopped for 2 months. So you should wear them.

This same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. Its going to hurt when you put it in, but after about four-eight days they should fit again. Make sure you put them on right before you go to bed, so your not in too much pain while your awake! Good luck!
