Firefox Stoves are "Made in China"?
What do you think of Firefox Stoves? they are also " Made in China".
Many people think that " Made in China" means poor quality, so do I. Anybody know something about Firefox stoves, are they really made in China?

Quality is a matter of quality control. If the contract with the Chinese factory required and enforced quality control then it would be a quality product. Remember that prior to WW2, German made products had the reputation of being low quality, it's more a matter of practice then nationality. "Made in Chine" only denotes poor quality because companies outsourcing to China are often looking to cut costs.
In terms of Firefox stoves, they're made of cast iron and the Chinese had cast iron 1,000 years before the rest of the world. Yes Firefox stove are often made in China but not all of them and the ones made in China are contracted to the same quality requirements.

Quality or the lack of has nothing to do with a country, a nation, a culture, or people(s). The building/ manufacturers specs is mostly responsible for quality. Then there are the QA (quality Assurance) personnel that monitor parts and assembly and so forth. Is your question about the stove's quality or are the stoves built in China? China has a better QUALITY of education than U.S.A.
