Does anyone know a good rock/pop song sung by a girl?
I need a specific song here, I'd like it to be sung by a girl, I wouldn't want it to be classical or jazz or hip-hop or rap, nothing like that. Maybe a rock/pop/metal kind of thing, electric guitars, bass, drum, then the female singer. You could say something like Paramore, maybe, but a little different than that, I doubt there are many bands with any screamo singers, but that would work, too.
A specific story line or meaning of the song, well, maybe something about a broken relationship with her family or something. Or it could even be a positive kind of song, maybe about 'hanging on' or 'making it through' or some stuff like that, something along the lines of that.
