How to stop retainer pain?
My retainer really hurts when I put it in and my mouth is really sore when I take it out. I've already tried Advil and ice water does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Put it in for shorter periods of time but more often. It's still going to hurt but eventually it won't matter because your teeth will go back to fit the retainer. I'm guessing you haven't been wearing it as often as you're supposed to?
