If a minor sends another minor porn, and the parents find out,?
Can the kid have legal action brought against him?
Say the kids masturbation session gets posted, then downloaded by an adult, is the adult now in possession of child porn?
I was at the mall and a few 14 year old boys sat down at a table near mine and started blabbing that they had sent their girl friend jerk videos. If I had technology like today when I was a kid, I probably would have done the same thing.
My only concern is other than a pissed off parent, can a kid sent to juvenile hall or possibly have to register as a sex offender when they turn 18.

Yes he can and if the parents don't report this they are also committing an offense which is ironic as their penalty would be a lot worse than the original offender.
And yes while he may not get sent to detention he WILL have sex offender attached to his name and don't fool your self into thinking when he is 18 its is removed. Strange how we believe that yet no one questions why an adult offender (say a serial killer) has his childhood offenses disclosed to the courts and then the media.
I am personally astounded at how the youth of today paints its self as being all IT wise yet in fact are totally out of touch with the realities and so risk of the communications systems they have at their grasp.

Possession of child pornography is illegal. It carries a penalty ranging from 10 years of deferred adjudication to 20 years in federal prison. Upon release that person must then register as a sex offender for anywhere from 10 years to life, depending on the laws of the state.
You do not have to be an adult to be a registered sex offender. There are children as young as ten years old that are required to register.

Yes, there are many teens and even children as young as EIGHT on the sex offender registry. Recently in Ohio, a five year old was issued a $3,000 fine for urinating in public. He has to appear before a judge to determine if he is a threat to society. Our laws are WHACKED.

If anyone sends images (pictures or movies) of a child engaging in a sexual activity, or unclothed, they're said to be disseminating child pornography. Even if it's themselves in the image.
And they can go to jail and go on the sex offenders' registers.
So yes - it's illegal, and yes, legal action is likely.
But seriously - it's just sick, pathetic and revolting to send stuff like that. I mean, what idiot would want to do that anyway?
