What happens that a person decides to be gay, lesbian, etc?

No person makes a conscious decision to be gay or lesbian. It is not a choice. If it were, who in their right mind would choose to be gay? When most people come to the realization they are gay, it is a frightening time for them. In general is a social stigma. They do not want to be gay but eventually have to accept who they are and deal with the consequences.

The last time I checked being gay or lesbian isn't a choice. A person doesnt decided to be gay, they either are or they aren't.

You don't decide that; you are born with your credentials (either gay or straight). What you do decide is to accept it, rather than resist; at which point a load is lifted off your shoulders.
