What formula would I use to find a common number within multiple cells of a large Excel® spreadsheet?
I am dealing with a large spreadsheet of 100+ cells with several category columns and many random numbers. I am trying to determine if there is one common matching number, or several common numbers, throughout the entire spreadsheet. In other words, I am trying to identify a common pattern with multiple categories.

Can you provide more detail? If you are just trying to locate a number, MATCH might do it:

that so easy... and that's not lager.. wait will you get to 1k cells. o.m.g for you when you get there, and if you get there. p.s( same question is in ask.com. with the answer) but you have to look it up.
