well Iphone is better and more popular than Samsung Galaxy S3

The feature of iPhone it has a bigger screen than before.

This is the feature that will make iPhone 4S owners want to upgrade. The phone now supports LTE on the three main U.S. carriers: Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T. That means much faster browsing speeds and app downloads than what people were used to with their 3G-only iPhones. The processor in the phone is also faster, which means you won't be waiting around for much.

    Camera

Somehow Apple has figured out how to make the camera in its phone even better, while still keeping it so thin. The iSight camera now captures photos more quickly, has better low-light performance, and has a panorama mode.

    iOS 6's Maps and Passbook

The new iPhone will ship with Apple's new iOS 6 software (it will also be available for people with older phones on Sept. 19). There are more than five features we like in Apple's new iOS 6 software, but the new Maps app is stunning. The app features turn-by-turn navigation and 3-D renditions of cities and buildings. There's also Passbook, an app that aggregates all your coupons, tickets, and boarding passes.

    Some of Samsung Galaxy S3

    THE

Samsung has nailed a key feature with the inclusion of the mammoth 2100mAh battery, and has managed to keep the handset weight down to 133g.

The S3 coped admirably with the enormous demands placed on it by the Super AMOLED HD display and quad core processor. We had high expectations that the handset would be the first smartphone to break the 12-hour barrier in our real-world usage test, and it did not disappoint.

During the test, corporate email, Gmail and Twitter accounts were set to push content throughout the day and we also carried out a range of tasks including web browsing and watching a 40 minute video. Brightness was cranked up to the maximum level, Wi-Fi remained off and battery saver was turned off.

The S3 powered through the entire 12 hour day and still had 27 per cent of the battery remaining. The screen was responsible for 52 per cent of the battery drain, mobile standby took up 19 per cent, voice calls 9 per cent and the Android OS 7 per cent.

With the ability to turn on a multitude of power saving options, it is possible to strength the battery life well beyond the 12 hour mark.

I might go for the S3. Apple had its 2nd of reputation. I notion that their last product valued at buying was once once the iPhone 4. It was once the only one with a good give a boost to. The S3 has higher standards, main to a rapid cell and a bunch of exclusive stuff. The iPhone has things it already will need to have had an extraordinarily very long time up to now and it still lacks elements. IOS can also be an awfully restrained gadget in customization. The one time i would propose any one to get an iPhone, is when the character is bad with science. That's to make a choice to your self. The S3's hardware and application is fine than the iPhone 5. The one aspect that you simply would cross over is the dearth of apps. I've not had that however, considering the fact that I made the equal step myself (from IOS to Android) nonetheless I was amazed via utilising the quantity of apps within the Google Play retailer. First-rate success!

The reason why the IPhone is so popular is because people get it without researching it, and end up liking. That's because they really don't know what else is out there, and the Galaxy S3 is just flat out better. There are so many more features, much more customizable, and it's much more enjoyable on a bigger screen, and that BS excuse "the IPhone is simpler" doesn't mean anything. If it's really that hard to learn how to use a phone, then people really shouldn't be getting a smartphone. Don't just say the iphone is popular so it must be the best, since it's very far from it.

It depends, The iPhone 5 looks nice and has everything a Smartphone beginner needs however the Galaxy S3 has a bigger screen and you can do much much more with it. If this is your first smartphone I would get an iPhone but it depends. Look into WP8 (I have some info below) aswell

Also what carrier/network are you on? Windows Phone 8 basically brings the best of both worlds. The Nokia Lumia 920 on AT&T kill both of them in terms of Display and Camera and it comes in many colors along with all the apps you need. T-Mobile HTC 8X, HD Display, Really Nice Camera too and the same Windows Phone OS. Sprint has them on pre-order (The HTC 8X) and Verizon has the Lumia 822 with a bright display, great camera, and a cheap price tag or the HTC 8X with the HD Desplay and many colors

5's hardware is far superior to anything out there today, including the battery (any battery even comparable is much bigger in other phones, iphone 5 is very small and thin, so apple has figured out how to get far better battery life while getting smaller).

Iphones are also the safest phones today because all app code goes through itunes and it reviewed before getting there, so you don't need antivirus apps running like you need on other phones. The thin design is good too because it fits in your hand and pocket and isn't like a plate in your pocket.

I believe they are both phones that you can call and text on, so they both do the important thing.

now look at price, which is cheaper ? get that one.
