Is there an audio speaker compatible for Ipad Mini?

I have an ipad mini, and an iPhone 4, but have struggled to find anything compatible for my ipad, would a wireless Bluetooth speaker work? If so, would that work for both my ipad and my iPhone?

    bluetooth speakers is your best choice unless you want to buy a lightning to 30-pin adapter to use on speaker for old idevices (iphone 4 and under, ipad 3 and under, ipod 4g and under)
