Rainbow peace symbol offensive?

So I like the idea of a rainbow peace symbol, but I'm told because I'm straight this would somehow be offensive to the lgbt community???!?!?!

Are they crazy?

Have you heard of this? Should I change the coloring?

    That is utter BS. Rainbow colours signify diversity, besides rainbow peace signal is no new news.

    Thats not offensive. I have known heterosexuals to where the rainbow. It shows support of us.

    Maybe go back and ask who ever said it maybe offensive to explain how he came to that conclusion and how many people he spoke to before arriving at it?
