To name a few:
Freedom of speech.
Freedom of assembly.
Freedom of religion.
Higher citizen education in average.
Better consumer protection.
Better labor law and better labor protection.
Higher average living standard.
Lower government corruption.
Higher government accountability.
Higher citizens participation in politics and public affairs.
Higher government transparency.
Lower pollution.
More polite and friendly people.
Lower human trafficking and lower violent crimes.
Better medical care (national heath care).
Better social programs (senior care, social security alike program).
And... yes, you get Google search, Facebook, Tweeter, etc.

The weather is far better here in Taiwan than that in Beijing.
There isn't as much pollution.
The food is great.
The people are friendlier.
They aren't xenophobic.

There is more freedom to travel internationally
The government does not ban certain websites
More religious freedom
