Christians, please show me the bible passage that says or implies that marriage is between one man and one?

The first human wedding was performed by God, as described at Genesis 2:22-24. As Jesus pointed out, it was not Adam but God who said, “That is why a man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh.” The wording of this text makes it evident that monogamy was the original standard for marriage in the eyes of Jehovah God from the start.

Some of the apostles were married having only one wife. (1Co 9:5; Lu 4:38) Paul, in setting forth the qualifications for those taking the lead in the Christian congregation, says that these men (if married) should have only one wife.—1Ti 3:1, 2, 12; Tit 1:5, 6.

Well I do know that there is a entire section written on who humans should no longer be having sex with. Beautiful unhappy that it has to be spelled out that you mustn't sleep along with your father's wife or animals or your brother or sister. It also says that a man should not lie down with yet another man like he would a lady and visa versa. Then there's a different verse that says guys with men and females with females is unnatural. If God suggestion it was once ok for persons of the same intercourse to marry He would have mentioned it. The bible is very clear. Individually i do not care what different persons do as long as it's not hurting any one and as long as they are not announcing they're Christians. My bff's brother is gay and does not believe in God, so it doesn't matter what he does. But when any person says they're a Christian and they are doing immoral things (and this includes all sexual acts external of marriage) they're lying to themselves.

The problem is not finding a passage that implies marriage between one man and one woman, but in ignoring the other passages that state that a man can have many wives and cobnutss, that incest is not wrong or that men have to marry their brother's wives if their brother dies.

The problem is that you can find many scriptures to support a wide variety of conflicting views and that most people only look at the scriptures that support what they think is right will ignoring those that disagree.

Before the scriptures: Husband-a married man, especially when considered in relation to his wife.

Wife-a woman joined in marriage to a man; a woman considered in relation to her husband; spouse.

"And the Lord God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him'" (Gen. 2:18).

"Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said:

'This is now bone of my bone

And flesh of my flesh;

She shall be called Woman,

Because she was taken out of Man.'

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." (Gen. 2:22-24)

Adam received his wife as a gift from God. In a sense it is still true that a man receives his wife from God. Solomon says:

"Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." Levitacus 18:22 NIT (New International Version)

Gossip (Lev 14:16)

Eating lobster (Lev 11:10)

Eating pork (Lev 11:7)

Cotton and polyester blends (Lev 19:19)

Even association with women on their periods (Lev 15:19-20)

Is it really wrong just because the Bible says so?And if it is to remain illegal when do we also make these things illegal?
