A question about time zones in China?
I understand that there is only one time zone in China. China is about the same width as is the US. In the US, if you eat lunch at 12 noon on the east coast, it is 8AM on the west coast, and many people are eating breakfast there.
So, what happens in China? If people go to work at 6AM on the east coast of china, do people in the west of china also go to work at 6AM, which is very very early in the morning? Or do people on the west side of china go to work at 10AM, when the sun is just coming up in western china?

The people in the far west of China go to work later. For example, in Xinjiang most stores and government offices run from 10 am to 7 pm Beijing time.

To answer your question I would say yes. When they go to work all depends on what job they have.
