How to give my hair mild spikes like this? Tips would be nice ><?

Here's a pic: http://m239.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/bucar...

Something similar to his hairstyle.

Update:

I have frizzy, very slightly curly hair.

(A way to get rid of the frizz would be great. Hot oil treatments don't work for me=.=")

As for the length, it's about the length needed. Just the spiking I have a little trouble with. For the fringe too >< I NEED TIPS or instructions'

Update 2:

(I have no idea how to backcomb) I think my barber layers my hair. What bothers me is the frizz. So when I style my hair it'll be tough.

Any quick remedies for frizz? I don't have a heat straightener. Hot oil treatments don't work either...

get it layered, and straighten your hair. then use some kind of clay or texturing mould such as vow extreme style matt clay. for volume use got2b volumizing powder or backcomb then brush lightly over and hair spray.
