Yes, if by battle rifles you mean assault rifles, there are all genres of guns, since you're pretty new to the game i wont spoil too much for you but if you ever need help or any good gear let me know, i have all 5 characters maxed out with all legendary inventories GT= Mike Phan

There are billions of guns in that game. There are rifles that are single shot, three shot burst, full auto, guns that are single shot when not zoomed in and burst fire when looking down the sights.
