can't take off the battery of laptop (is it essential) ?
I have a sony vaio laptop , the battery cannot be removed easily, it needs a screw driver to do so .. my question is : do I have to take it off? or it's designed to stay with the laptop ?
The laptop before this one , I used to take it out easily, so I'm curios about this one .. is it designed to permanently stay with the laptop until the user decides to take it off or what??

All batteries can be removed from the laptop. Often times the battery gets old and can no longer hold a charge for this reason the battery needs to be replaced. Check to see if your battery has a lock switch that moves to the left or right so that you can pull the battery out. I doubt if you really need to use a screw driver to remove the battery.
