What would be better for school work?
I'm looking into buying either:
-An iPad 2
-A Kindle Fire HD
-A Google Nexus 7
I want to be able to Skype my family when I go on holiday and to go on Facebook. I know all have WiFi. My mum wants it to be useful for my school work but I've also got quite a tight budget. I was thinking either the Kindle Fire HD or the Google Nexus 7, due to the reduced price, but I want to know which would be best for my school work?

The Kindle Fire is a tablet lite (as in underpowered and featured, compared to top brand tablets), and is mostly locked to Amazon app and ebook store.
The Nexus is a full blown/featured tablet, and not terribly locked down.
