What should I wear to get a rib tattoo?

Wear a bandeau top and a tank top with extremely low cut arm holes. The armholes will allow the tattoo to dry and whatnot after it's done. The bandeau just looks less trashy than a bra and a bikini might not be comfortable.

I'd wear a black sports bra and a loose t-shirt. Sports bras are made of materials that can just be thrown in the wash with anything, doesn't need to be specially washed. They're also easier to pull up if the artist requires more room. Black because even if ink happens to end up on the bra, it won't show up or stain.

As long as the shirt is loose, it won't matter. Your artist should dress your tattoo which you'll be instructed to leave covered for....oh I don't remember it's been a while, I think my artist usually recommends a couple hours. After the dressing comes off, something loose and cotton. if the fabric becomes stuck to the injured area, don't peal it off, wet the shirt so you don't rip off scabs and pull out ink.

My tattoo artist had me wear an old t-shirt and cut open the side of it when I got my rib piece done. I just changed out of my bra when I got there and put it back on when I finished getting my tattoo :)

I would say anything that is easy access to it. A tank top, a Bikini top. Don't wear just your bra, it will look trashy. A bikini top will let it get air and it will be easier to get to. If its cold where you are, wear a jacket over it. If its warm, just wear your Bikini top or tank top or just wear a light hoodie over it! (Sorry it's long)

only your bra, or a bikini top or a sports bra would be okay :)

if its going to be in the way the tattooist will have you take it off.

if you want it right there then be prepared to be half naked.
