Not on chats - are you nuts?

And dell would never ask for credit card info this way.

You need to show your mom this question.

She needs to have a seriously long talk with you about internet safety.

Never over the phone unless you contact the company yourself.

Never give to anyone that calls you.

And never to a site you do not recognize.

You probably have a checking account you can get a debit card and use it to make online purchases. It really works the identical as a credit card except the cash is taken out of your checking account. I take advantage of my debit card for on-line purchases all the time for the reason that i'm trying to restrict my credit card utilization. Do not use your moms and dads' bank card. They are going to find out when they obtain their subsequent assertion. If they may be the style of humans who come virtually maxing out the cardboard more commonly and you use the card behind their again it could reason the card to head over the restrict, leading to them having to pay expenses out the wazoo. If you will find the iron you wish to have in a store, buy it at the retailer. It'll prevent from having to pay delivery and handling fees.

Online I would only do it when on the regular page for entering your credit card info, and the URL (web address) starts with https (the last "s" means the connection is encrypted).

On the phone I would only do it if I called the company instead of the other way around.
