Lets say you want to rent a place for $500 a month (just say).

If you have been working for 1 year, full time, making $30,000 a year, along with 6 months salary in savings, a landlord will rent to you.

Much better than a kid making minimum wage with credit but only 2 bucks in the bank.

I never had trouble renting an apartment without credit.

And never had trouble buying a nice new car without credit.

Why does it seem some people are so worried about establishing credit?

What reasons do they need credit developed for?
