Coming Home From U.S. Army Training?

Will I be able to come home for a few days after Basic Training or after AIT??

You have the option of taking leave after AIT, also if your AIT falls on the holidays you will get an exodus for Christmas.

If you want to save your leave time and still want to go home you can do the hometown recruiting option. You'll get a couple weeks of time at home (granted you'll have to help out your recruiter some) but it won't use any leave days.

You get a period of time after your AIT to go home and get things shipped to your duty station.

Typically you will have some leave time before you are required to report to your first duty station.
